“Duddingston: Village in a Borderland, prehistory to the present” lecture series

Over the winter Duddingston Joint Discussion Group held a series of talks by Roger Mercer in the Millar Hall, Duddingston.

Roger is a retired archaeologist who has excavated in Scotland and England.

There were a series of six titled “Duddingston: Village in a Borderland, prehistory to the present”. Covering from the beginning to the advent of Humans and the first farmers to modern Duddingston.

All were extremely well received and we would like to thank Roger.

There are plans for further lectures in winter 2016/2017.

mossy balls

Come along to the Garden, between 10 am and 3pm on the above Saturdays and make a small, mossy hanging “basket”  (see poster) filled with Narcissus to brighten the house.

This is really easy to do but looks lovely.

The cost £5 or £4.50 for Friends.
