Dr Neil’s Garden Autumn Festival Sunday 16th September 14:00 – 17:00

Join us for our annual Autumn Festival on Sunday 16 September from 14:00 until 17:00.

Entry for Friends is £3.

There will be garden produce and home baking stalls, children’s crafts, live music, plants for sale and teas.

The Tower will also be open during the same hours.

The Riding of the Marches will come along Old Church Lane around 15:00.

This commemorates the tradition of inspecting the city’s boundaries and re-enacts the Captain of the Trained Band’s return to the city with news of defeat at the Battle of Flodden in 1513. After 1707 this annual inspection route ended until after the Second World War.
