Decorative hangings aren’t just for Christmas! Join Alloyed Collective jeweller Lyndsay Fairley for a mindful, metal foil embossing workshop, creating beautiful botanical and folk-inspired decorations to keep or gift. You will create a few beautiful hanging pieces in various sizes, using warm-toned brass metal foil or you can also make your pieces into special card decorations. There will be a range of objects to inspire you – or you are welcome to bring along your own ideas!
This workshop will suit people with a range of experiences and all levels of ability, although everyone must be over the age of 18. These classes are running alongside Alloyed Collective’s show ‘Tonic’ in Thomson’s Tower. 10% off any sales in the exhibition for people attending classes.
Lyndsay Fairley is an experienced jeweller with more than a decade’s experience with an interest in drawing, developed during her studies at The Glasgow School of Art. She now lives and works in Glasgow, showing her work across the UK.
