This month we are pleased to present “A revolution in mapping – the Ordnance Survey, mapping the nation from the 18th Century to present day”

Robert Louis Stevenson wrote in 1894 “I am told there are people who do not care for maps, and I find it hard to believe.”

Ian is a retired cartographer who has spent almost his entire working life in survey and mapping. He was the Cartographic and Geographic Information Systems Manager for the Crown Estate Office in Edinburgh.

Entrance to the talk is free but all donations are welcome for the benefit and upkeep of Dr Neil’s Garden.
